Earlier this week, I post a “for her” Holiday Gift guide, and a lot of you expressed interest in a “for him”… so here it is! My husband is on the funky, stylish side of most men, but I tried to incorporate some classic staples from his wardrobe and things he likes around the house that you could gift the dude in your lives! Here are some fun ideas, all across the price spectrum, for your husband, brother, boyfriend… you get it. So, let’s get started!
My hubby loves Coffee Table Books as much as I do, and he has great taste in them, too. Men love to look at all things architecture, and this one is the reference work for all architecture in the 20th century. Clayton already owns this one, and it’s one that guests flip through while sitting around and sipping a cocktail all of the time!
If the man in your life is a drinker, try these beautiful sipping snifter glasses with a nice bottle of liquor. Clayton is all about a nice sipping tequila and/or mezcal, which these glasses are perfect for, but they are also great for the Whiskey lover, too! The scaled down, classic snifter shape directs the bouquet of fine spirits and liqueurs upward toward the nose for added flavor.
My brother gifted me an Amazon Echo Plus (aka “Alexa”) for my 30th birthday and I am obsessed and so is Clayton. It’s a great price point for a gift that keeps on giving!
Years ago when it first started, Clayton became a member of Vinyl Me, Please. It’s “the best damn record club” in which once you select a monthly subscription plan you receive one incredible vinyl record every month and an exclusive pressing of it right to your door. They also include an original 12×12 album-inspired art print and a paired cocktail recipe to sweeten the deal even more. Clayton is a seriously music lover and vinyl collector, so he really enjoys the celebration of music every month and has discovered some great artists this way.
It’s funny, because the one thing my hubby spends more money on than anything is eyewear. He is a sunglasses/glasses addict, and you can blame his mom for that one. She has more glasses than Lense Crafters! haha! His excuse is, “well, if you’re going to spend money on anything, why not something that is on your face that everyone has to stare at?” Good point! These Garrett Leight sunglasses are simple, yet cool and fantastic quality. They are one of my favorite pairs that Clayton owns. So, if you are down to splurge on some killer sunnies for your man… get him a pair of these!
If your man likes to cook, especially cook meat, and he doesn’t already own a Lodge Cast Iron Skillet, you should absolutely get him one. Yeah, it’s a little high maintenance as far as cleaning goes, but it’s really not too much trouble and you can perfectly sear just about everything.
As far as good running/tennis shoes go, it doesn’t get any better than Athletic Propulsion Labs, APL. Let’s just say their technology is so good that their first concept they launched was banned by the NBA because it posed an “unfair advantage”! They are the comfiest and, I love the way they look.
A good throw on sweatshirt is always a good idea with guys. No matter what their range of “stylish” may be, it’s a classic staple in their closet that they will love.
Need just a little something to get a man in your life… a set of dominoes is a classic. Guys love sitting around, BS-ing with one another over a game and Dominoes is a classic. Get them the dominoes with nice bottle of liquor if you want to elevate the gift a bit.
My husband hates wallets because “they are too big and he doesn’t like sitting on it all day” so he is a Money Clip guy. If you are wanting to spend more on him and get him something fancy, this Gucci Money Clip is a classic. Or, get basically the same thing for way less with this one here!
A nice, good looking flannel button down is a staple over here at our household, in both mine and Clayton’s wardrobe. You just can’t go wrong in our opinion! This Rag + Bone one is simple, yet sexy. I love the color combo and I think any guy would love it. It’s a win-win.
If you’re man isn’t afraid to be stylish and you want to get him something cool, these Chelsea Boots by Taft are so handsome. Clayton wears his that I got him last year all the time!!
